I'm a northern California native who is interested in visual art, dance, and literacy. 

I fell in love with teaching quite by accident when I answered a help wanted ad for Arthur Murray dance studios in San Francisco.  Within weeks I was teaching adults how to dance, learning on my feet, literally, and I have been able to use that experience over the years.  Teaching in a non traditional setting like that one, taught me a lot about human nature and how to adapt curriculum to different learning styles and strengths.
